Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man believed lost in bushland near Hornsby.
Adam Bowhay, aged 46, was last seen on Cowan Parade, Berowra, about 4.30am on Tuesday (12 August 2025).
When he couldn't be contacted or located officers attached to Kuring-Gai Police Area Command commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
An extensive search of the area was conducted with assistance from specialist units including Polair, Dog Squad, officers from the Operational Support Group and Public Order and Riot Squad officers.
Police hold concerns for Adam's welfare as he is believed to be missing in nearby bushland and isn't equipped for the elements.
Adam is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, with a thin build and bald hair. He has a tattoo on the left side of his face and on his neck.
The search is set to resumed about 7.30am today (Thursday 14 August 2025).
