Police Seek Missing Central Coast Teen Girl 3 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the states Central Coast area.

April Ansell, aged 14, was last seen on Akora Road, Wyoming, about 8.30am yesterday (Friday 2 January 2026).

Unable to be located or contacted since, she was reported missing to officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District, who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for April's welfare due to her young age.

April is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of slim build, about 155-160cm tall, with long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black Twilight jumper, grey jeans, and a red and white t-shirt.

She is known to utilise public transport and frequents the Newcastle and Sydney CBD areas.
