Police Seek Missing Elderly Man From Condell Park

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's southwest.

Alfredo Martinez, aged 79, was last seen on Hunter Street, Condell Park, about 5.30pm yesterday (Monday 18 May 2026).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Alfredo's welfare as he lives with dementia.

Alfredo is described as being of Asian appearance, of a slim build, about 160cm tall, with grey thinning hair, a moustache and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black tracksuit with thongs.

Alfedo is believed to be travelling on foot around the Condell Park area.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is asked to contact Bankstown Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
