Police Seek Missing Elderly Woman in Darlinghurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from the Darlinghurst area.

Julia Wetter, aged 75, was last seen leaving an aged care facility on Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst, about 10.15pm Friday (6 March 2026).

When she was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Kings Cross Police Area Command were notified today (Sunday 8 March 2026) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Julia's welfare as she lives with dementia, frequently falls over and has a number of other health conditions that require regular treatment.

Julia is described as being of South America appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, pink track pants, white joggers and black glasses.

Julia is known to frequent the Bondi, Haymarket, and Sydney CBD areas.
