Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's south.
Kya Leighton, aged 14, was last seen at Engadine last Saturday (7 February 2026).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for her welfare given her age.
Kya is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm-160cm tall, of medium build, fair complexion, with red/pink coloured/dyed hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a wearing a black hoodie with "Neovision" branding, light blue gym shorts, carrying a black Nike backpack.
Kya is known to frequent the Lake Illawarra, Engadine and Bondi Junction areas and uses public transport.
