Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's west.
Joel McNamara, aged 13, was last seen at Girraween, about 3am on Tuesday 16 December 2025.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Police and family hold concerns for Joel's welfare given his age.
Joel is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, with a thin build and curly brown hair.
He was last seen wearing grey and black Nike jumper, black track pants, and is known to wear a white hat.
Joel is known to frequent the Waitara and Coogee areas.
