Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Lake Macquarie.
Chad Austin, aged 41, was last seen boarding a train from the Newcastle Interchange, about 7.30pm on Monday 26 January 2026.
Officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Chad's welfare.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm-180cm tall, of solid build, with shaved hair and brown eyes.
Police believe he may have travelled to Central Railway Station, Sydney.
