Police Seek Missing Man in Carlingford

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney's northwest.

Nafiz Islam, aged 25, was believed to have last been seen on Carlingford Road, Carlingford, about 2am today (Monday 23 March 2026).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Nafiz is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 185cm tall, of medium build, with black hair, a moustache and beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured button up shirt and reading glasses.

Nafiz is believed to be travelling on foot in the Carlingford and surrounding areas.
