Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from Newcastle, NSW Police say.
Matthew Kiely, aged 20, was last seen about 9.30pm yesterday today, at his home on Rodway Street, Kotara.
Police from Newcastle City Local Area Command were alerted after he couldn’t be located
Serious concerns are held for the man’s welfare. He is autistic and may have difficulty communicating.
Mr Kiely is described as being Caucasian appearance, approximately 175cm tall, of a thin build, with brown hair, brown eyes and a beard.
He was last seen wearing a red jumper and pyjama pants.
Police are appealing for anyone who sees a person fitting this description to contact Newcastle City Police Station or Crime Stopers.
