Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's east.
Mercedes Ingrey, aged 14, was last seen on Maroubra Road, Maroubra, about 9pm yesterday (Thursday 26 March 2026).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and her family have concerns for Mercedes' welfare given her age.
Mercedes is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 180cm tall, with a thin build, and long black hair.
She is known to frequent the La Perouse, Phillip Bay, Maroubra, and Glebe areas.
