Police Seek Missing Miranda Teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl reported missing from the Sutherland area.

Pearl Kongchan, aged 17, was last seen in Miranda, about 12.30pm today (Friday 6 March 2026).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Pearl is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall, of slim build, and with long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a red graphic, grey sweatpants and white shoes.

She is known to utilise public transport and frequents the Chinatown and Sydney CBD areas.
