Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's south west.
Mataia Taauso, aged 17, was last seen at Mt Pritchard about 11.50am yesterday (Wednesday 10 June 2026).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Fairfield Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Police and family hold concerns for Mataia's welfare as he lives with a number of health issues.
Mataia is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maor appearance, about 165cm tall, medium build, with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a shirt, beige pants and steel cap boots.
Mataia is known to frequent the Mt Pritchard and Lake Illawarra areas as well as having previously travelled to Queensland.
