Police Seek Missing Tweed Heads Teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the State's north.

Rachel Grey, aged 16, was last seen on Recreation Street, Tweed Heads, about 9am on Tuesday (14 April 2026).

When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and his family have concerns for Rachel's welfare given her age.

Rachel is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, with a thin build, and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a graphic on the front, blue and black checkered shorts, sandals, and was carrying a black suitcase.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Tweed Heads police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
