Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing south of Sydney.
Jason Murphy, aged 47, was last seen in West Wollongong, early September 2025.
When he could not be located or contacted, police were notified on Wednesday 22 October 2025 where officers attached to Wollongong Police District commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Jason is described as Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall, medium build, grey/black coloured hair and long grey beard.
It is not known what he maybe wearing.
Jason is known to frequent the West Wollongong and surrounding areas.
