Police Seek Missing Wetherill Park Teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's west.

Patrick Byers, age 13, was last seen at a shopping centre at Wetherill Park about 1.30pm today (Saturday 25 July 2026), walking along Polding Street, towards Fairfield.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and his family have concerns for his welfare as he lives with autism.

Patrick is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of large build, with light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black zip up jumper, black pants, and white and grey Nike shoes.

Patrick is known to frequent the Sydney CBD area and regularly uses the train network.
