Police Seek Parents of Non-verbal Boy Found in Wagga

Police are appealing for assistance to locate the parents or carers of a boy found in Wagga Wagga this morning.

About 8.20am (Wednesday 24 December 2025), officers attached to Riverina Police District were travelling on Bourke Street, Tolland, when they located the unsupervised boy near a service station.

Police are speaking to residents and members of the public in the area; however, haven't located his parents or carers.

The boy is described as being aged about 7-8 years old, of Caucasian appearance, of small build with brown hair, brown eyes and non-verbal.

He was found wearing a tan-coloured long sleeve pyjama shirt with dinosaurs on it and blue track pants.

Anyone who recognises the boy's description is urged to contact Wagga Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
