Police seek public assistance after Maribyrnong copper theft

Detectives from Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit are investigating after $20k worth of copper wire was stolen from a work site in Maribyrnong last month.

It's believed two unknown men gained entry to the worksite on the corner of Aquatic Drive and Rosamond Road between 12.15am and 3am on Monday, 12 September.

Police were told they began stripping copper wires from the floor and walls.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
