Police seek public assistance after two men injured in Liverpool

Police are appealing for public assistance after two men were injured at Liverpool, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Riverpark Drive about 6.30pm (Friday 12 January 2018), following reports a group of men were fighting.

Police from Liverpool Local Area Command attended and stopped a vehicle nearby where they located two men injured.

A 24-year-old man was taken to Liverpool Hospital with a stab wound to his back. His injuries aren’t life-threatening.

A 23-year-old man was also taken to Liverpool Hospital with lacerations.

A crime scene has been established and police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A man was arrested over unrelated matters at the scene and inquiries are continuing.
