Police seek public assistance with Coburg burglary

Police are investigating a burglary in Coburg last weekend where approximately $20,000 worth of whitegoods and furniture were stolen, Victoria Police say.

Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been told a man forced entry to a residence in Linda Street just after 4am on Saturday 15 July.

The burglar moved several boxes of whitegoods and furniture to the front of the house before leaving and returning with a vehicle and box trailer.

He loaded the boxes onto the trailer and left in a vehicle, possibly a silver four door Holden sedan.

He was wearing a light coloured hooded jumper, track pants and bright sneakers.

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.

The burglar is perceived to be of middle eastern appearance, aged in his 30s, average height and build with short dark hair and unshaven.
