Police Seek Teen Missing From Northern Beaches

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy reported missing from Sydney's Northern Beaches area.

Hakim Balbaz, aged 13, was last seen in Belrose about 5pm Friday (3 April 2026).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified about 10.30pm yesterday (Saturday 4 April 2026), and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

Hakim is described as being about 155cm tall, with a slim build, olive skin, short dark hair and dark eyes. When last seen he was wearing a navy blue GANT t-shirt, white shorts, grey Tommy Hildiger jumper, and white ASICS joggers.

Hakim is known to frequent the Forest Way shopping precinct, Cowan, Central Coast, and Sydney CBD.
