Police are appealing for assistance to locate family/guardians of an elderly man found in Sydney's south west this afternoon.
About 6pm today (Tuesday 24 March 2026), officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command located a man, believed to be aged in his 80s, on Palace Street, Ashfield.
The man is described as being of Asian appearance with grey hair, wearing a dark/gey coloured jacket and black pants.
He appears to be living with dementia, does not speak English and is currently at Burwood Police Station.
