Police are appealing for public assistance over an alleged break and enter in the state's Wollongong region earlier this month.
About 2.20pm on Wednesday 17 September 2025, police were called to a home on Coast Street, Thirroul, following reports of a break and enter.
Officers attached to Wollongong Police District were told about 2pm on the same day, two unknown men gained entry into the home and stole two passports along with an amount cash before leaving the scene.
There was no one home at the time.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.
As inquiries continue, police have released an image of two men who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as being of medium build and about 175cm tall. He is depicted wearing a long white sleeve shirt, black/grey gloves, a yellow high vis vest, long dark pants, black shoes and face mask.
The second man is described as being of medium build and about 175cm tall. He is depicted wearing a tanned hat, an orange high vis shirt, black gloves, a yellow high vis vest, black pants, and white sneakers.
