Police seek to reunite boy with parents

Police are appealing for information in the hope to reunite a child with his parents after he was discovered in Highett early this morning.

Officers have been told the naked boy knocked on a Hibberd Street door about 2.45am.

The occupants called emergency services who conveyed him to hospital for assessment.

The boy, believed to be aged about 9-years-old has been non-verbal with emergency services.

He has blonde, straight, shoulder-length hair, blue eyes and thin build.

Police have released an image of the boy in the hope that someone recognises him and comes forward.
