Police seek witnesses after assault - Rhodes

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command are appealing for assistance following an assault in Rhodes.

About 1.30pm on Wednesday 21 April 2021, police were called to Rhodes Railway Station following reports of a man being assaulted.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command attended and spoke to a 26-year-old man who had allegedly been punched in the face. The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Hospital in a stable condition.

As inquires continue police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries, he is described as being of a medium complexion, large build, black short hair, black beard, last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants
