Police seek witnesses after dozens of tyres slashed in Essendon and Moonee Ponds

Moonee Valley Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for assistance from the public after dozens of vehicles had their tyres slashed in Essendon and Moonee Ponds last night.

Investigators have been told at least forty vehicles had their tyres slashed in Buckley Street, Salisbury Street, Primrose Street in Essendon, and Montague Street in Moonee Ponds between 9pm-10pm.

Police have spoken to several victims today and would like to hear from any victims who have not yet spoken with police.

Investigators would also like to speak with residents in the area with security cameras on their properties.
