Police seek witnesses after Port Melbourne crash

Prahran Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a single-vehicle crash in Port Melbourne earlier this week.

The incident occurred on Graham Street when a maroon AC Cobra replica crashed into a tree in the centre median strip just before 6.30pm on Wednesday 25 May.

Police have been told the vehicle drove out of Nott Street and turned left onto Graham Street, travelling approximately 70 metres before smashing into the tree.

The driver and his female passenger were both conveyed to hospital.

Investigators have released an image of a similar type vehicle and are appealing to anyone who has dash cam footage or information that could assist with their enquiries to contact Crime Stoppers on 18000 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
