Police seek witnesses after serious collision - Sunshine North

Brimbank Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Sunshine North this afternoon (24 May).

Police have been told a woman had been crossing McIntyre Road, near Hammond Street, about 4.30pm when she was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The Sunshine North woman, aged in her 50s, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a 62-year-old Sunshine North man, stopped at the scene to assist.

Police are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
