Police seek witnesses in Alice Springs 2 December

Officers from Strike Force Viper are appealing to members of the public with mobile phone footage of an incident in which a group of youths assaulted two women in Alice Springs last weekend.

Between 11:55pm on Saturday 27 November and 1215am on Sunday 28 November two women were walking down the southern end of the Todd Mall when it is alleged they were physically assaulted by a group of five to six female youths.

Police have reason to believe patrons of a nearby restaurant have mobile phone footage of this incident, and are appealing for these people to contact police.

Anyone with information or mobile phone footage is urged to contact police on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
