Police seek witnesses - Robbery - Jingili

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a robbery in Jingili yesterday afternoon.

At around 4:00pm, police received reports of a robbery at a shopping centre on Jingili Terrace. A male has entered the store and allegedly stolen a number of items. He allegedly threatened staff with an edged weapon before fleeing the scene towards Rothdale Road.

The male is described as Indigenous, aged between 16 and 19, wearing a green hoodie, cargo pants and no shoes.

Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Morrissey said, "Serious Crime detectives are urging anyone with information, or anyone who witnessed the incident, to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 9887133.

"You can also make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
