Police seek witnesses - Stealing with violence in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged stealing with violence in Alice Springs yesterday.

At around 4:30pm, an unknown male allegedly approached a 40-year-old female, swung her by the arm and stole her purse at the Bath Street entrance of a shopping centre. The victim was not injured.

The male fled through an underground car park to Hartley Street and was last seen heading towards Todd River. He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 16 or 17-years-old wearing a beige hooded jumper.
