Police seek witnesses to a pedestrian struck in Lalor

Greensborough Highway Patrol are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Lalor this morning.

A 16-year-old male was crossing High Street at the intersection with Paschke Crescent about 10am.

He was struck by a red Hyundai with the driver stopping immediately and rendering assistance.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver is assisting police with their enquiries.
