Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday morning.

At about 1:15am, the 20-year-old male victim was walking along Leichhardt Terrace towards Undoolya Road. Once at the causeway he walked onto the pedestrian bridge and headed towards East Side.

He was approached by a group of unknown youths who assaulted him and stole a number of small items. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Strike Force Viper investigators are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident or who have CCTV or dash-cam footage, to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference 9784863.
