Police seek witnesses to Drouin collision

Drouin police are appealing for witnesses as they prepare a report for the Coroner following a crash in Drouin on Sunday 29 August.

It's been reported a green Holden sedan was travelling east along Princes Way when the driver ran in to the rear of a maroon Toyota hatchback at the Main South Road roundabout about midday.

The driver and sole occupant, an 85-year-old Drouin man, was able to leave the scene unaided, however his condition deteriorated, and he was taken to hospital where he sadly passed away on 5 September.

The other driver was uninjured.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or with dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.

Police were not notified of the collision until 1 September.
