Police seek witnesses to Flemington phone theft

Flemington Police are appealing for public assistance following a theft on 20 September.

Investigators have been told a man walked up and asked the victim for a cigarette in a restaurant car-park on Flemington Road about 7.50pm.

The man then grabbed the victims mobile phone and fled.

Police have released CCTV of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be of African appearance, tall with a skinny build.

He was wearing a black Dickies brand tee-shirt and dark pants.
