Police seek witnesses to Knox affray

Knox police are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out at a Knox shopping centre and then continued on a Frankston-bound bus last week., Victoria Police say

Investigators have been told that a fight broke out between two men at a bus stop outside a Burwood Highway shopping centre at 4.40pm on Friday, 19 August.

The fight lasted for several minutes before both men left the shopping centre, covered in blood, and caught a Frankston-bound bus.

The argument continued on the bus before the driver pulled up at the intersection of Stud Road and High Road in Wantirna South and ordered the two men to get off.

Police have since arrested two men, a 31-year-old Glen Waverley man and a 20-year-old man from Rowville.

Both men are expected to be charged on summons with assault related offences.

Investigators are appealing to other travellers on the Frankston-bound bus who may have witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
