Police seek witnesses to Little River motorcycle crash

Westgate Highway Patrol officers are appealing for public assistance following a single motorcycle crash in Little River this afternoon.

Police have been told a black Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling inbound on the Princes Freeway when the rider lost control about 5.40pm.

The motorcycle veered off the road and collided with wire barriers before coming to a stop.

The male rider, a 28-year-old Yarraville man, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No one else was injured from the incident.

Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have dash cam footage of the incident.
