Police seek witnesses to South Geelong aggravated burglary

Geelong detectives are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in South Geelong earlier this month.

Investigators have been told an unknown man gained entry to a Verner Street home via the back door on 7 December about 5.15am.

Upon being confronted by an occupant he fled the scene through the back door.

No one inside the home was injured from the incident.

Investigators have released a computer-generated image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.

The man is perceived to have an olive complexion, aged 20 to 30, and has dark short facial hair.

He was wearing a dark jumper, light brown pants, a dark coloured beanie and brown work boots.
