Police seek witnesses - traffic crash, Kenmore

Police investigating a two-vehicle crash at Kenmore on Wednesday, April 24 are appealing for witnesses and for dashcam footage.

Investigations indicate a red Ducati Scrambler motorcycle was stationary at a set of traffic lights on Moggill Road, at the intersection with Margaret Court at around 8.30am, when it was struck from behind by a white 2003 Toyota Echo hatchback.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 78-year-old Scarborough man sustained a number of serious injuries including broken bones and head trauma and was transported to hospital.

The 29-year-old female driver of the car was not physically injured.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash or anyone who may have dashcam vision (contact details below).
