Police Seek Woman With Dementia in Strathfield

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a woman reported missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Xiaoping Huang, aged 70, was last seen at an address on Albert Road, Strathfield, about 11pm yesterday (Thursday 2 April 2026).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified today (Friday 3 April 2026) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Xiaoping's welfare as she lives with dementia.

She is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall with slim build, and grey curly shoulder-length hair usually tied in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing black pants, blue sneakers, and two layered tops.
