Police seize firearms, drugs in Melbourne's south-east

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested five people in Melbourne’s south-east this morning follow the execution of multiple warrants, Victoria Police say.

With the assistance of Echo Taskforce, detectives executed simultaneous warrants at about 6am resulting in five arrests and the seizure of drugs and weapons.

A 24-year old Hampton Park man, and known Comancheros Motorcycle Gang associate, was arrested at a Cranbourne North address with both drugs and weapons being seized.

An 18-year-old woman was also arrested at the same address.

Two Hampton Park men, aged 20 and 21, were also arrested at separate addresses with drugs and weapons being seized.

A final warrant was executed at an address in Carrum Downs and a 26-year-old man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The community can be assured and confident that Victoria Police will continue its strong focus on any criminal activities associated with rival Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs and any other groups.
