A man has been charged after police located a replica pistol and illicit drugs during a search warrant in Nyngan today, NSW Police say.
About 11:30am today detectives from Darling River Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home in Mudal Street, Nyngan.
During a search of a shed used as a dwelling on the premises, it will be alleged police located a quantity of white crystals which is believed to methylamphetamine, or ‘ice’, and a replica pistol.
Those items were seized for forensic examination.
A 46-year-old Nyngan man was arrested at the scene and taken to Nyngan Police Station.
He has been charged with drug supply offences, operate a drug premises and possession of a prohibited drug.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Dubbo Local Court tomorrow.
