Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man after executing a firearms warrant in Glenroy earlier this morning, Victoria Police say.
The warrant was executed at an address on Gladstone Parade just after 9.30am.
At the address investigators allegedly located a sawn-off shotgun, a semi-automatic rifle, a revolver and an AK47 machine gun with a loaded magazine.
A 24-year-old Glenroy man was arrested at the address and has been charged with traffick firearms, prohibited person possess firearms and possesses ammunition.
He is expected to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court later this afternoon.
