Police seize trail bikes in Bridgewater

Trail bikes being ridden illegally in the Bridgewater and Gagebrook area have been targeted by an ongoing police operation.

A number of offenders were detected riding trail bikes illegally in parklands in the Bridgewater and Gagebrook area today, with a total of three bikes being seized by police in three separate incidents.

"This behaviour places other park users at risk of serious injury if struck by a trail bike. Police will continue to take these matters seriously," Sergeant Jason Klug said.

"Police remind the public that using a motor vehicle for a recreational purpose within 500 metres of a domestic premises is an offence."
