Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing girl Brigitta Gaye.
The 12-year-old was last seen in St Albans about 7pm today.
She is described as 165cm tall with black hair in braids and was wearing a black top and pants.
Police have released an image of Brigitta in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Brigitta is asked to contact Keilor Downs Police Station on 9365 3333.
