Police sieze Oakleigh South stash

Police from Croydon Divisional Tasking Unit have seized drugs, cash and luxury vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation in Oakleigh South this evening.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Golf Road residence and seized a large q of alleged drugs, including substances believed to be Cocaine, MDMA, steroids, cannabis, prescription medications and a BMW.

Approximately $85,000 in cash was also seized at the address.

A 24-year-old Oakleigh South man was arrested at the scene.

He interviewed by police and charged with traffick drug of dependence, possess drug of dependence, possess proceeds of crime and other drug related charges.

The Oakleigh South man will appear at Ringwood Magistrates' Court later today.

Acting Senior Sergeant Justin Wool said that the arrest was an excellent result.

"A complex and well organised drug trafficking syndicate has been dismantled with a large amount of cash, drugs and property seized."

"It serves as a warning to those involved in nefarious activities that you will be caught and you will be brought before the courts."
