Police station front counter hours extended, South Australia

Front counter hours at three suburban police stations are being extended in two weeks' time.

The amended opening hours are the result of an allocation of civilian front counter staff (Station Support Officers).

The provision of these Station Support Officers is as a result of additional government funding.

The extended hours at Norwood, Glenelg and Henley Beach Police Stations will begin on 15 November 2018 and the new opening hours are listed below.

"We would remind the public that in a life-threatening emergency they should call Triple Zero (000) while for police attendance they should call 131 444," a police spokesman said.

A range of services are also offered online – for community members who want to report lost property, a minor collision, or cybercrime – please visit the SA Police website at www.police.sa.gov.au
