Police treating death suspicious in Mitchelton

Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man at Mitchelton today.

Emergency services were called to a unit on Osborne Road just before midday.

One of the residents, a 42-year-old man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital but died shortly after arrival.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death, which is believed to be suspicious.

A crime scene has been established and at this stage the cause of death is unknown.
