Police treating fire as suspicious, Capalaba

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a Capalaba business early this morning.

Initial information indicates just before midnight, entry was forced to adjoining businesses on Old Cleveland Road, near Elizabeth Place, and a fire deliberately lit.

The fire was contained to one of the businesses, and no one was physically injured.

Police declared the property a crime scene and investigations are ongoing into the incident.

Police appeal to anyone with information, or relevant CCTV or dashcam in the area at the time, to come forward.
