Police treating fire as suspicious, Gaythorne

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a Gaythorne unit complex last night, May 7.

Emergency services were called at approximately 12.30am to a unit fire on Pickering Street.

A woman in her 40s was treated for minor burns.

The unit was declared a crime scene, and the fire is being treated as suspicious.

Police appeal to anyone with information, relevant CCTV or dashcam footage in the area to come forward.
