Police Treating Fire As Suspicious, Slacks Creek

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a tobacco store at Slacks Creek in the early hours of this morning 27 March.

Around 4.34am police were called after an unknown male wearing a balaclava forced entry into the Kingston Road premises before the fire began.

The male was observed to get into a vehicle and flee the scene.

A crime scene has been declared as investigations commence into the fire.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or may have relevant vision in the area at the time of the incident is urged to contact police.
